Discussion:
Karate Kid & Keith Giffen (slightly spoiler-ish)
(too old to reply)

Two conflicting interests in my love for the Legion. While the Kid was
always one of my favourite Legionnaires from the Shooter era, Keith
Giffen's LSH work has always been extremely readable even when I don't
necessarily agree with his direction or share his opinions about certain
characters.

While looking at the advance solicits, I noticed a guy that looks like Val
on one of the covers of the upcoming DC / Wildstorm series that Keith is
working on. Anyone else guess that this is going to involve Giffen killing
the Kid for a fourth time ?

Do significant deaths happen in what amount to inter-company
crossovers? Well... Captain Atom had a total bum deal from visiting
Wildstorm. So maybe. But then again, will Keith Giffen get paid
again for telling the exact same story - if he does that? And
whatever else happened in Lightning Saga (which Legion was that????),
didn't it establish that Karate Kid can /duck/ when it's called for?
(Or did I misunderstand that? I thought he went "skeleton visible
through flesh". That's usually pretty bad.)

The KK is dead now so it doesn't really matter.

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
ever again, which I'm doing now, having once again been the innocent
victim of my own stupid plans. God, I need some coffee.
