JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA (IV) 41

The new lineup originally promised for #38! Following the conclusion of
Blackest Night, Mon-el is recruited to join the JLA. After all, he's trying
to be like Superman isn't he?

SUPERMAN 696

Let's see: The Science Police headquarters was just bombed by a spy for
General Lane so he could blame the Kryptonians Nightwing and Flamebird who
are in custody inside, then Lane and his troops convienently show up to take
them into custody. So what is Mon-el and his sidekick Guardian going to do?
Help the Kryptonians escape of course. Then find yet another Legionnaire is
disguise in the 21st century. All is not as it appears.

This issue is a bit light on plot, as there are two full page panels, and
two two-page spreads in this one chapter alone.

Also out this week is JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA (IV) 33, where the JSA
concludes a two-issue fight with Young Mordru again.

Until next time,

I think you can add Supergirl # 49 to the list. The last pages hint at the
rebirth of a former reserve member of the Legion. Something that was in the
making for two years or more in the Superman titles.
